St Paul's - Chacewater
Church Hill, Chacewater TR4 8PZ
We are a warm and friendly group of people, of all ages and backgrounds. During the year we host a whole range of activities from Musical Concerts, Vintage Sales, Summer Fairs and the infamous Greyhound Blessing Service.
Music is central to our worship and our fellowship. We have an informal choir who sing each Sunday for the 9.45am service.
Looking after our planet is another passion. We are continually looking for ways to live in harmony with God's creation. Most recently we have partnered with the National Project 'Bats in Churches' in finding ways to care for our very special brown long-earred bats. We are particulary pleased with our new Bug Hotel.
We welcome children and families to our services, there is an activity table for children to use during the service. The local Brownies meet in the church on a weekly basis. Inside the church building we have an accessible toilet, a kitchen facility and hearing loop.
The church building is ideal for weddings.
Tony (01872 560740) and Terry (01872 560421) are our the church wardens.
St Paul's church in Chacewater was granted Grade II listed status in 1967. More about its history can be found by clicking here.
