Holy Trinity - St Day

Church Street, St Day, TR16 5LD

At Holy Trinity we have a traditional the Anglo Catholic style of worship. It is a peaceful and beautiful space where someone can simply sit and be the the presence of God.  We hold evening services for our Saints, and for the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The Society of Mary meets here on a monthly basis.

Our church is the Cornish shrine for Our Lady of Walsingham and our festival is held annually in September.

St. Day is the only place in the country to be named after the 6th Century Breton monk. There are several places bearing his name in Brittany. He came from the monastery Landevennec which still exists today. The present church contains the beautiful statue of St Day as a mitred abbot and his prayers are said to be effective in curing rheumatism. There is a Breton proverb that says “No one prays at his chapel without finding relief.”
