St Stythians sits in the centre of the village of Stithians. The village close to the towns of  by Redruth, Helston and Falmouth.

 

The Parish includes the villages of Stithians, Longdowns, Penhalvean, Goonlaze, Trembroath and Trethellan Water.

St Stythians Church has that holy atmosphere, a place where heaven and earth almost touch. The building is of late mediaeval structure. In the 13th. 14th and 15th Centuries the church was expanded.  There have been many restoration projects over the years, including the tower in 2012.

On a Sunday morning, the bells are rung by our bell ringers. We also have a number of talented organists who play for some of our services. 

​

We are an active Church community with good links with the village. There is a friendly atmosphere with regular socially activities.
